pSB1AK8
Part:pSB1AK8
Designed by: Monika Ciglic Group: iGEM06_Slovenia (2006-10-14)
Eukaryotic terminator vector (formerly BBa_J52017)
This vector is BioBrick vector pSB1AK3 with eukaryotic terminator added. pSB1AK3 is a high copy number plasmid carrying ampicillin and kanamycin resistance. The replication origin is a pUC19-derived pMB1 (copy number of 100-300 per cell).
- RS 03:20, 9 December 2009 (UTC): This plasmid backbone is not fully compliant with Assembly standard 10. It is missing a C in the BioBrick suffix. The NotI and PstI sites overlap as the sequence is currently specified in the Registry. It is not known whether this error is simply a user entry error. Or if the deletion is present in the physical DNA as well.
- RS 19:58, 24 November 2008 (UTC): The original entry of this part included both a plasmid and plasmid backbone. It has been split into a plasmid backbone and part. The physical Registry distribution has been updated accordingly.
The original part is now pSB1AK8-BBa_P1010.
