Coding sequence from 5' end of the BCR3 gene sequence
BCR3 is a predicted secreted protein that localizes to aphids bacteriocyte cells.
This sequence is taken from the coding strand from a 5’ region of the Myzus persisae BCR3 gene. The Cardiff_Wales team is attempting to target this gene using RNAi.
BCR3_5_5 is cloned into the golden gate version of pSB1C3 (P10500) using BsmBI and conforms to the Phytobrick standard.
It is flanked by BsaI sites together 5' TACT and 3' CCAT cloning sequences for subsequent cloning into a level 1 plasmid.
This sequence is incorporated into a level 1 plasmid for plant expression as part of an RNAi construct with the complimentary sequence found in BBa_K2810006.
