LtrB Group II intron Front Segment

A Group II intron is a retrohoming element that can mediate the insertion of itself to a certain location of DNA. The Lactococcus lactis Ll.LtrB intron is a group II intron that found can target the ligated-exon sequence of the L. lactis ltrB gene. The general structure of wildtype LtrB Group II intron is showed in Figure 1.
