CTR-sfGFP
CTR-sfGFP is composed of the Human Trypsinogen-2 protein signal sequence (BBa_K5198011 ) with sfGFP (BBa_K5198012 ), Superfolder green fluorescent protein. CTR is the proenzyme precursor to trypsin, and is secreted from the pancreas in this precursor form to later aid in digestion. At 51 bp long, the CTR signal sequence is relatively small and should not have significant effects on the protein attached.

Figure 2. Fluorescence readings of sfGFP with different signal peptide fusions in HEK293T cell supernatant. The negative control (NC) is sfGFP fused with an HA tag, which does not exhibit extracellular secretion. Error bars represent the standard deviation (SD) of 4 biological replicates. The data was normalized by subtracting background fluorescence.
