WT proU promoter

This plasmid contains the wildtype promoter sequence of the Escherichia coli proU operon which functions as an osmolarity sensor. In high salt, the osmolarity regulated RFP expression is induced.

From 2018 FJNU-China We performed a characterization experiment on the proU and used more accurate experimental methods to obtain experimental data. Our team have added new, high quality experimental characterization data to the wildtype promoter sequence of the E.coli proU.
