Design Notes

We used fusion PCR to fuse CrtZ and PrbcL to avoid restriction site in between which might influence expression efficiency.

pPIGBACK 5'3'NSII and PrbcL are from Synechococcus elongatus PCC7942. pPIGBACK ori and ampicillin resistant gene are from pBR322. CrtZ is from Pantoea ananatis.
