Design Notes

Because the gene sequences of endolysin and holin in different species of bacteriophages are slightly different, we are not sure whether endolysin and holin from different species could cooperate well. Therefore, we choose the endolysin and the holin both are from enterobacteria phage T4.

Source

The endolysin we used is from iGEM released parts, BBa_K112806, which is endolysin from enterobacteria phage T4.
