Part Collections in the Registry

We have had many part collections deposited into the Registry during it's existence and we are now bringing them together. We want to help users discover collections and show them what previous iGEM teams have achieved.

Collections can be entirely created by a single team, if they worked with a new chassis and deposited a lot of new parts for example. Collections can also be grouped by team projects, or by certain biological functions. We have collections of reporters, CRISPR/Cas9 enzymes and Drug Delivery systems. We are beginning to create these collections starting with 2013 projects and hope to improve them over time.

These are the collection pages we have created or linked to so far:

  1. CRISPR
  2. Bioremediation
  3. Drug Delivery
  4. Hardware
  5. Reporter Proteins
  6. Freiburg 2012 TALE collection
  7. Anderson Promoter Collection
  8. Genome Integration Toolkit (miniTn7)

Most Used and Most Documented Parts

We're also working on getting our most used and most documented parts available to see. These pages highlight the top 10 most used and documented parts in many cagetories:

  1. Most Used parts
  2. Most Documented parts

These tables are created dynamically, so if you do a great job and create a lot of documentation for your part, or for an existing part, you'll see in on these pages!
