EF1a promoter (+EF1a intron)
EF1a promoter, including the first intron of EF1a gene.
EF1a core promoter: The human eukaryotic translation elongation factor 1 alpha (EF1a) promoter, boasts a strong gene expression in most cell lines, while at the same time being more resilient and stable, due to its mammalian origin, compared to a promoter of viral origin and stronger gene expression that might fail to express a gene or be silenced overtime.
EF1a intron : The human eukaryotic translation elongation factor 1 alpha (EF1a) first intron is added downstream of the EF1a core promoter to boost the gene expression power of the promoter.
This enhanced promoter can be used in any gene expressing project, where the desired gene can be placed downstream of the 3' end of this part.
This part's sequence was used for the construction of the composite part "EF1a mir195 infuded promoter" https://parts.igem.org/Part:BBa_K5471011 which then was used for the contruction of pAAV-EF1a-mir195-eGFP-SV40pA plasmid https://parts.igem.org/Part:BBa_K5471020 our team used for our experiments
