This part includes part BBa_K3957000, which is a chimeric protein consisting of the ligand binding domain of vitamin D receptor protein fused to mNeonGreen and mCherry fluorescent proteins, such that the binding of vitamin D to the protein induces a conformational change that can be observed through fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET). This sub-part also includes a 6xHis-tag. This part is an improvement of BBa_K3515011. This part also consists of a T7 promoter for inducible expression of the system(BBa_I719005), a ribosome binding site(BBa_J61100), and a double terminator(BBa_B0015).
