cprs transcribes the enzyme necessary for santalol production
Usage
After expressing cprs and cyp76(BBa_K4616004), the enzymes catalyze the conversion of santalene into santalol.
Biology
The NADPH-dependent cytochrome P450 reductase (CPRS) ultimately hydroxylates C12 in santalene to yield santalol in collaboration with CYP76[1].
