Hydroxyisourate hydrolase from Cyberlindnera jadinii

This part encode a hydroxyisourate hydrolase (from Cyberlindnera jadinii) under the control of the constitutive promoter J23100 and strong RBS B0034. The hydroxyisourate hydrolase encoded can covert hydroxyisourate to 5-hydroxy-2-oxo-4-ureido-2,5-dihydro-1H-imidazole-5-carboxylate. Uricase degrade uric acid into hydroxyisourate. Hydroxyisourate hydrolase can then further degrade the hydroxyisourate. In our project, we express uricase and hydroxyisourate hydrolase in E. coli. It is hoped that the E.coli can lower the uric acid concentration in human alimentary canal, so as to prevent gout disease.
