CwA - Cell wall anchoring whole protein from Lactobacillus plantarum

This part is the whole protein sequence of Lp_2578, a cell wall adherence protein, from Lactobacillus plantarum WCFS1. This protein, and some derivatives, allow for the covalent anchoring to the lactobacillal cell wall. Our application for this protein was to apply it to an orally administered vaccine for fish. This approach can be used for several vertebrates.
