This biobrick is a basic part which is the DNA template of sgRNA of TRNA1，a part of DNA sequence in mitochondrial. We designed this part because we didn’t really know which mitochondrial target sequence we would use and this part may be useful if we choose TRNA1 as our MTS.

Usage
As we know the CRISPR-Cas9 system consists of a Cas9 protein and a sgRNA. Once the sgRNA matches its target, the DNA sequence that can pair with the sgRNA, the complex of protein and sgRNA will cut the DNA sequence into two pieces. We want to cut the DNA in mitochondrial, TRNA1 only shows up in mitochondrial DNA, so the CRISPR-Cas9 system will only cut the DNA sequence we have chosen with the help of the sgRNA transcribed by this part.
