pdDronpa1.2
pdDronpa1.2 is a photodissociable dimer designed by the Lin Laboratory at Stanford University that is switched off by 500-nm cyan light and on by 400-nm violet light. This engineered Dronpa is able to monomerize under 500-nm light and dimerize under 400-nm lab. The Lin Laboratory has been able to control kinase activity by flanking a kinase active site with two monomeric Dronpa.
