RBCS2 Promoter

RBCS2 is a promoter of the small subunit of ribulose-1, 5-diphosphate carboxylase, encoded by the nuclear gene and is an inducible promoter for strong light-induced expression.

Usage and Biology

RBSC2 promoter is 147bp in length. this photograph shows the DNA sequence of RBCS2 promoter is successfully amplified by PCR from psi-Check2 vector. From this electrophoretogram, we can see the brightness of RBCS2 promoter PCR product is rather high compared with DNA Marker, which indicates that the PCR product of RBCS2 promoter is in a high concerntration. (Fig 1)
