fabA with His tag (N-terminus)
FabA is a part of the fatty acid biosynthesis pathyway. It is a β-hydroxydecanoyl-ACP dehydrase that catalyzes the dehydration of β-hydroxydecanoyl-ACP, causing the insertion of the double bond between C7 and C8 counting from the methyl end. This creates the trans-2-decenoyl intermediate.
