actinGFP
GFP is fused to the n-terminus of actin in order to visualize the actin cytoskeleton. The actin originates from Aspergillus niger. Furthermore an inducable promoter is used which can be induced by xylose.
Usage and Biology
This construct is used to visualize the actin cytoskeleton by induction with xylose. This is done to be able to observe the structure and movements under a fluorescent microscope.
