xlnD terminator

xlnD is a known forward terminator that is situated downstream of a gene encoding β-xylosidase from Aspergillus niger (GS1 strain) (Amaro-Reyes A et. al. 2011).
We have integrated this terminator downstream of ATP-sensor (BBa_K1023003) and eforRed (BBa_K1023005) genes, in which both of them are expressed under a constitutive promoter pkiA (BBa_K1023001), see figures below


Fig.1 Transformant (left) A. niger proved that the pkiThe red mycelium was clearly visible with eforRed upstream of xlnD terminator. The negative control (non codon-optimized eforRed) didn't have any colour.
