Cold-sensing promoter (hybB)
This is the hybB promoter, which normally controlls hydrogenase regulation at low temperatures.
It turns ON at 30oC and is active as low as 20oC (lower not tested). It is OFF at 37 and higher temperatures.
In the literature, it is also active in anaerobic environments. This hasn't been tested.
