ADC Gene Sequence
This part is the ADC gene, or acetoacetate decarboxylase, that is used in a complex mechanism/pathway to produce acetone. We are aiming to use this in our final step to produce acetone and CO2 from e.coli bacteria. This part makes the end result products, acetone and CO2, from acetoacetate.
