Glycogen Synthesis Actuator (alt1)
Input: PoPs Output: Glycogen overproduction
Expresses glgC mutant gene (coding for the glucose-1-phosphate adenylyltransferase) and glgS gene (predicted glycogen synthesis protein). These genes are expressed normally for e. coli metabolism. This part is intended to be used for over expression and overproduction of glycogen. This part is greatly reduced in size from the ideal glycogen synthesis actuator by the removal of glgA.
