SH3ligand

components of interacting proteins

Usage and Biology

12SJTU SH3dl.gif

The SH3 ligand along with its domain(Part:BBa_K771107) comes from Mus musculus, which could dimerize spontaneously. The original dimer was introduced by Dueber et al., 2012. This pair of dimer is a perfect material to construct the dimerizable proteins. In Membrane Magic system designed by [http://2012.igem.org/Team:SJTU-BioX-Shanghai 2012 SJTU-BioX-Shanghai Team], the SH3 ligand is located in Membrane Anchor 3, while the SH3 domain on Membrane Anchor 2. A flexible linker3(FL3) is added to the N-terminus of the domain, enabling its proper interaction with its domain on Membrane Anchor 3.
