Part:BBa_K771101
ssDsbA-Bla
signal recognition particle (SRP)-dependent signaling sequence added before β-Lactamase ,which makes hosts become resistant to Ampicillin
Usage and Biology
This part is basically composed of two parts, ssdsbA, and β-Lactamase. The lactamase DNA was PCR cloned from the vector pETDuet-1, which contains Amplicilin Resistance. the ssdsbA was directly added to the front of lactamase using PCR primer. the ssdsbA can be recognized by signal recognition particle, and the whole protein could be transferred out to the periplasm, endowing the bacteria resistance to Amplicillin.
