pJEJAM5

pJEJAM5 is a plasmid intended for transient transfection of mammalian cells. pJEJAM5 consists of the strong constitutive cytomegalovirus (CMV) promoter, cyan fluorescent protein (CFP), the BGH polyA, the hygR marker cassette, an ori for propagation in E.coli, and an ampR resistance cassette (Figure 1).

Expression of pJEJAM5 in the mammalian cell line U-2 OS results in a homogenous distribution of CFP in the cells (Figure 2 and Figure 3).
