BBa_K544021 is a sequence of a dimer form of the Keima-Red fluorescent Protein,i.e. "dKeima-Red". The part only contain the protein sequence. It need additional regulatory regions and promoters for the protein to be expressed and used as reporter. "dKeima-Red" absorbs light at 440 nm maximum and emits red light at 620 nm, which the red light is stable under normal aerobic environment.
