Nid1

Nidogen-1 (Nid1) is a sulfated glycoprotein from the rat (Rattus norvegicus). It distributes in basement membranes and probably plays a role in cell-extracellular matrix interactions.[1]
We performed codon optimization to improve gene expression in E. coli. This basic part is used in BBa_K4854023 as a fusion protein with CsgA protein (BBa_K4854013).
