EGFP

Enhanced green fluorescent reporter protein gene. Its florescence intensity is up to 6 times greater than normal GFP protein.

Characterization

This EGFP gene is from the strain whose EGFP gene is located in its genome. By using primers BBa_K4761550 and BBa_K4761551 we obtained the gene and conducted verification.

Later characterization was performed with pET and pET28a vectors. Report plasmids with EGFP gene linked are constructed and transformed and induced via IPTG to observe luminescence. See BBa_K4761101 and BBa_K4761112.
