wspF
The wspF gene is part of a chemosensory signal-transduction operon in Pseudomonas aeruginosa, as it interacts with WspR, a signal transduction protein. This gene encodes the regulatory protein for the diguanylate synthase, WspR, and its deletion results in elevated production of certain matrix proteins and cyclic-di-GMP, promoting biofilm formation with significantly more biomass.
