xisF4
xisF4 is an excisionase gene found in Pf4 filamentous prophage, playing a crucial role in controlling the lysis-lysogeny decision by activating Pf4 phage replication via upregulating the phage initiator gene (PA0727). Additionally, it promotes transcription of an operon, which might be involved in the lysis-lysogeny switch, making it a significant factor in Pf prophage excision and replication decisions.
