lamB signal peptide

The lamB signal peptide from maltoporin directs the protein toward the cell membrane. Different signal peptides for the secretion of MHETase were studied in E. coli, with lamB showing the highest activity [1]. The part includes two additional residues in the C-terminus of the lamB signal sequence that act as a linker with the protein to be secreted.
