pelB g58a signal peptide
The pelB signal peptide marks a protein for secretion out from an E. coli cell. This part differs from the standard pelB sequence (BBa_J32015) by a missense mutation caused by a substitution from guanine to adenine at position 58. This variant has been shown to exhibit improved secretory efficiency compared to the standard pelB sequence, when located upstream of IsPETase [1]. (Variant PM3 in the paper)
