Coding sequence of family IV esterase (EstJ6). This enzyme derived from soil metagenomic library is capable of catalyzing di-ester bond hydrolysis.

Design Notes

FLANKED 5' fusion site: AATG, 3' fusion site: AGGT.
Source sequence was optimized and checked for BsaI and SapI restriction sites using: http://genomes.urv.es/OPTIMIZER/

This part has a START codon at the 5' end of the sequence and no STOP codon at the 3' end because it was designed as a part of a fusion protein with interchangable domains. If you want to express only this coding sequence, please add the STOP codon in your design.
