Polypropylene specific peptide sequence

This basic part code for a peptide capable of attaching the polypropylene. This part is a subunit of the CsgA-peptide complex (BBa_K4685035).

To increase the curli fiber capacity to capture microplastic, we planned to fuse these peptide sequences to the CsgA( main subunit of the curli fiber) gene via a short flexible linker.

The peptides are short enough that they do not disturb the proper folding of the curli fibers. The idea of this design is that the peptide stretches out of the beta-sheet structure of the curli fibers and has the possibility to interact with the external environment
