Providencia rettgeri. UreABC protein coding region.This part is responsible for hydrolyzing urea into carbonate and ammonium ions.
Biology
Bacterial urease genes were widely reported in a way of urease gene cluster, which was consisted of structural genes and accessory genes. Structural subunits of urease were encoded by structural genes (ureABC), and accessory subunits of urease were encoded by accessory genes (ureEFGD).

usage
We constructed plasmids for PET-lac ure ABC and PET-lac ure EFGD, and connected them through homologous recombination, as shown in the following figure.

Characterization
1. Agarose Gel Electrophoresis:
Urease was extracted from the Providencia rettgeri strain JNB815 and perform PCR replication, and the experimental results were shown in figure 2.
