VNN1_S

VNN1_S (BBa_K4612119) is a 125-nucleotide single-stranded DNA sequence that is a weighted probe for the target VNN1. The sequence at its 3' end is designed to be complementary to the target VNN1, so that it binds specifically to the target and thus accomplishes recognition of the input signal.DNA polymerase polymerizes the DNA in a 5'-3' direction starting at the 3' end of the target VNN1.This probe also binds to a probe corresponding to the target VNN1. The probe also incorporates a weighted strand corresponding to the weight number size 5 of the target VNN1, which is replaced and released by the newly synthesized daughter strand during DNA polymerization by Bst DNA polymerase. Through this process, the signal of the target is quantitatively converted into the number of weighted strands, which facilitates subsequent calculations, and finally the results of the operation are converted into different fluorescence intensities, making the results easy to read.
