hsa-let-7b-5p _Target_14

hsa-let-7b-5p _Target_14 (BBa_K4612114) is a 22 nucleotide single-stranded DNA sequence, a cDNA sequence derived from the reverse transcription of hsa-let-7b-5p. let-7b-5p is a member of the let-7 family and is involved in the regulation of non-small cell lung cancer. It has therapeutic potential to inhibit tumor growth in NSCLC patients by reducing tumor angiogenesis[1]. So the expression of hsa-let-7b-5p has a role in determining whether or not you have small cell lung cancer, and can be given weight. Figure 1 demonstrates the specific function of this element: it binds to the probe as a target, and then the polymerase undergoes a polymerase-mediated strand displacement reaction using it as a primer. The weighted strand that is displaced is then subjected to a subsequent reaction.
