IFIT1_Target_6
IFIT1_Target_6 (BBa_K4612105) is a 30-nucleotide single-stranded DNA sequence that is a portion of the gene IFIT1 sequence intercepted with guaranteed specificity in humans. Ifit1 can inhibit viral translation by isolating eukaryotic initiation factors or by directly binding to the 5' end of exogenous RNA, and is part of the immune system's defense against viral invasion[1]. So the expression of IFIT1 has a role in determining whether it is a viral infection or not, and can be given weight. Figure 1 illustrates the specific function of this component: it binds to the probe as a target, and then the polymerase uses it as a primer for a polymerase-mediated strand displacement reaction. The weighted strand that is replaced is then subjected to a subsequent reaction.
