LuxB:B1
A fusion protein formed by linking the B1 fluorescent protein to the back of the LuxB fluorescent protein with a Glu-Leu linker. For more information about B1, please refer to BBa_K4594026 , and for LuxB, please refer to BBa_K3769013 . In iGEM 2023, ShanghaiTech_China expressed this fusion protein with LuxCDAE and LuxGF. The resulting spectrogram is presented below.
LuxB:B1 fluorescent protein after fluorescence resonance energy transfer the highest peak of the emission spectrum should be around 507nm, the peak at 490nm is the highest peak of the emission light of the first protein, but due to the first highest peak of the emission light is close to the second one, so the experimental double peaks are not obvious, and it becomes a flat head peak at 490-510nm. The experimental results are in line with the theoretical values.
Attached below is a picture of the results.
