LuxB:A2
A fusion protein formed by linking the A2 fluorescent protein to the back of the LuxB fluorescent protein with a Glu-Leu linker. For more information about A2, please refer to BBa_K4594008 , and for LuxB, please refer to BBa_K4594013 . In iGEM 2023, ShanghaiTech_China expressed this fusion protein with LuxCDAE and LuxGF. The resulting spectrogram is presented below.
LuxB:A2 fluorescent protein should have the highest peak of the emission spectrum after BRET around 512nm. The experimental results show a double peak. The peak at 490nm is the highest peak of the emission light of the first protein. The experimental results are in accordance with the theoretical values.
Attached below is a picture of the results.
