CsgA-ShMT3-MBP3
This part can realize the integration of adsorption of heavy ions and precious metal ion, such as Cd(II), Cu(II) and Ag(I), which is aimed to apply in real industrial wastewater containing multiple metal ions. The composite part is consist of four basic parts, which are CsgA, GS-linker, ShMT3 and MBP3. CsgA is the major curli subunit protein of E.coli, which realize the surface display of ShMT3 and MBP3. ShMT3 and MBP3 are new basic parts created by IGEM_XJTLU 2022, which are proteins function on the metal ion adsorption. XITLU_China 2022 predicted the structure of this fusion protein and its binding sites of multiple metal ions, including Cu(II), Zn(II), Cd(II) and Ag(I).
