Linker Sequence Replacing Terminator
This linker sequence can be used to replace terminators in a synthetic operon system, where all genes contain this downstream linker to allow transcription to continue, except for the last gene where a terminator is placed downstream thus terminating transcription and resulting in a single mRNA for the operon. Therefore this sequence is useful in assembly systems that require 4 modules for each transcriptional unit (promoter, RBS, gene, terminator) and a synthetic operon system is desired.
