Transcriptional Unit 3 in Synthetic Operon for Pterostilbene Production
This composite part is the third transcriptional unit (TU) of the 4-gene synthetic operon constructed for pterostilbene production from L-tyrosine as precursor. This part includes a linker (replacing promoter) and an RBS (BBa_K4388011), a Vitis vinifera stilbene synthase mutant (BBa_K4388003), and a linker sequence that replaces the transcriptional terminator (BBa_K4388012). This composite part was assembled via JUMP type IIS assembly whereby the three above-mentioned basic parts were ligated into the pJUMP29-1C vector.
