This part is an improvement of BBa_K3605006. Just a His Tag was added. Cmcax and ccpAX are ancillary proteins in the cellulose operon of Komagataeibacter xylinus. The endo-beta-1,4-glucanase (CmcAx) and the endoglucanase (ccpAX) hydrolyze tangled glucan fibers when the chains arrange wrong.


Design Notes

We improved part BBa_K2804010 with adding a His-Tag behind the proteins Cmcax and CcpAx to detect it with affinity protein purification when added to part BBa_K4369001 - Complete K. xylinus cellulose operon (adjusted for E. coli).
