Lysostaphin

We designed an antimicrobial peptide complex using the V8 protease cleavage site as a linker between our antimicrobial peptides. when encountering Staphylococcus aureus, linker between antimicrobial peptides will be cleaved by V8 protease and release antimicrobial peptides which can kill Staphylococcus aureus. However, AMPC will remain as an inactive form as long as the linker exists.
