mVenus sequence for MoClo B2-B5 position
mVenus CDS was designed to be used with the Chlamydomonas Reinhardtii MoClo kit [1] and is in position B2-B5. It’s 5’ scar is CC (because start codon ATG is contained in this sequence) and it’s 3’ scar is GCTT.
mVenus is a yellow constitutively fluorescent protein first published in 2006, derived from Aequorea victoria. It is reported to be a rapidly-maturing monomer with moderate acid sensitivity. [2]
