5'UTR

This part is an RBS- UTR Hybrid that gives lower expression than the RBS itself. This was tested in E. coli of two strains: DH5alpha and BL21(DE3), and the protein expressed was RFP. The comparative performance in the strain DH5alpha was 0.1053 compared to the control (RBS only) with a standard deviation of 0.0031 compared to the control. The comparative performance in the strain BL21(DE3) was 0.1374 compared to the control (RBS only) with a standard deviation of 0.0113 compared to the control.
