oxySp
oxySp is a promoter induced by OxyR (BBa_K1104200), a transcription factor that is activated by ROS (Reactive Oxygen Species). In our case, we used hydrogen peroxide to activate OxyR protein. For more information on our result regarding our characterization, refer to the composite part oxySp-GFP-Pc-OxyR (BBa_K4225003). In summary, the threshold of oxySp for composite part (BBa_K4225003) is found to be at around 40 μM, and teams that are finding a very sensitive H2O2 inducible promoter can use oxySp in their projects.
Note that there is another oxySp in the iGEM part registry (BBa_K3152021), however this oxySp sequence is different with theirs.
