Part:BBa_K4179021
cTNT promoter
It is a fragment from the chicken troponin muscle-specific gene [1]. Usually, it is found downstream to GTIIC motifs that are required for efficient expression [2].
Usage and Biology
The team of Technion 2022 used this promoter in a construct (BBa_K4179020) downstream to the 8XGTIIC motifs (BBa_K4179017) and followed by the luciferase gene (BBa_I712019). The whole composite including cTNT promoter plays a significant role in the OraCell measurement that has been created in order to quantify their manufactured product.
