transposon upstream sequences in the Saccharomyces cerevisiae genome
Transposon is DNA sequence that can change its seat in a cell. It can jump from one seat of a replicon to another or from one replicon of the same cell to another. Using transposon as homologous arm to insert target gene into yeast genome can effectively increase gene expression.
